My Review

This is the first book after the original trilogy. Pierce Brown didn't initially intend to write more for the Red Rising series, but reader pressure put him back in the cooker. 

This one started off a little slower and focused on different characters in each chapter. Darrow becomes an outlaw after losing the confidence of the Senate, which has gone soft. This sets up the 2nd trilogy nicely and captured my attention to keep reading.
