My Review
This had some good nuggets of info. First, practicing (i.e. visualizing) stressful situations before they happen and working through some of the outcomes. It could be a big sales meeting, or a project pitch, or even a difficult conversation with a co-worker, boss, or employee.
One last thing. They suggest developing a COTE of armor, working individually on each part of "COTE".
C - Confidence
O - Optimism
T - Tenacity
E - Enthusiasm
The authors gave examples based on studies of how each part contributes to higher levels of success. They also provided ways to strengthen each.
