My Review

Book 4 of the Foundation series was written 30 years after book 3. Asimov wasn't interested in writing another one but with overall interest in the series growing, and pushes from his publisher, he wrote 4 more books.

Book 4 continues about 500 years after the original Hari Seldon plan as two unexpected individuals embark on a quest to find Earth - the original planet of human civilization. This story is both complex and simple. It carries incredibly interesting ideas about space exploration and human communication. But the story, in many ways, is as simple as every great story is.

This series gets better and better. And the characters, while there are many, are easy to track and follow.
