My Review

Every one of us could use a Leslie Burke in our lives. Somebody who pushes the boundaries of what's normal and helps take us on unexpected journeys. At first glance, this is a sad book. It pulls you in. The language and story are quite simple, but the emotions are complex. Looking deeper, however, it shines a light on our ability to move on and cherish those we've lost.
